Volcanic rock stores wind energy
Researchers in Hamburg have developed a heat storage facility which can already supply some 3,000 households for one day with electricity generated from wind power. The secret: volcanic rock from the depths of the Earth.
My part of this nice project was to design and create an over 80 squaremeters big and 8 meters high painting in cooperation with Siemens Gamesa to introduce this new research project.
